What to expect at your newborn session
The studio is kept near 80 degrees to keep baby nice and warm while in their birthday suit. I recommend dressing in layers so you can peel away the layers if you get warm.
Newborn sessions can let up to two hours, so please plan accordingly. You may want to pack yourself a lunch and snacks. Enjoy the 'free' time to rest...I will not be offended if you nap! Sometimes parents may be called upon to "work". Some poses require assistance from Mom or Dad as a spotter. Baby safety is ALWAYS number one in my studio, I will let you know when help is needed.
I have everything needed for your newborn session. Hats, bonnets, outfits, fancy wraps and props. If there is a sentimental item you would like included, please let me know ahead of time so I can plan a setup around the item.
What to expect for your portrait session
Planning a professional photography session usually elicits a lot of emotion. Whether you feel 100% excited or unbelievably worried – I understand. You’re not alone in these feelings and that’s why I make it my goal to take the stress out of the picture-taking process. When you book a session with me, all you need to worry about is showing up and being (and embracing) your authentic self. I’ll handle the rest.
My job is to ensure you have fun while getting beautiful images that capture real natural photos of your family today. Don't worry that it's too late! However old your children are now, they will never be smaller; now is the time to capture family life, before the babies grow up or the children leave home!
